Monica Pirolo graduated from Purdue University as an honor student, majoring in History and Law and Society. She wrote for the Colorado Encyclopedia under the guidance of Dr. Ronald J. Stephens, Professor of African American Studies at Purdue. She has taken undergraduate classes in African American history, culture, social movements, and diversity.
