Shelley serves as the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for the Pueblo of Santa Ana, holds a doctorate in anthropology and taught anthropology and archaeology at Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) for over thirty years. Shelley specializes in southwestern archaeology, historic preservation, lithic technology and geoarchaeology.
