Brooke Neely is a Research Fellow at the Center of the American West (University of Colorado-Boulder). She works on a range of applied research and outreach projects at the Center that focus on public history, community engagement, and diversity/inclusion in the American West. These include 1) a partnership with the National Park Service that seeks to enhance the interpretation of American Indian histories in the parks; 2) an update and reproduction of the Center’s play The Urban/Rural Divorce that explores the divides between urban and rural residents in the West; and 3) a variety of outreach efforts to museums and K-12 educators in the region.
