Geoffrey Hunt, known to some as "The Wizard of History," is a historian specializing in the nineteenth-century American West, the American Civil War, and Colorado history. He has taught history courses at Community College of Aurora, where he heads the social sciences department, as well as the University of Colorado-Denver. Hunt has been featured on National Geographic and has written many books, including Colorado's Volunteer Infantry in the Philippine Wars, 1898-1899 (2006).
