A native of Colorado, Eberle has written and published two regional guide books on ghost towns and mining camps of Colorado. He publishes the blog www.lifedeathiron.com. He has extensively researched the Confederate underground in Colorado Territory during the Civil War, and is the author of The Gray Ghosts of Colorado, a history of “The Reynolds Gang.”
