Tracy L. Brady holds a Senior Teaching Appointment in the History Department and has taught full-time at CSU for over 15 years. She specializes in courses covering the American West, and the twentieth-century United States and earned her PhD at the University of Colorado. Tracy is passionate about finding ways to teach students that history is not simply memorizing facts and dates, but that the past is vital to their understanding of their own worlds.

Tracy has won several teaching awards including the Ann Gill Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015. She is interested in creating opportunities for collaboration between CSU's history department and public schools throughout the region. Tracy also cares deeply about issues facing NTTF faculty, including shared governance, job security, and academic freedom. She has been a member of the College of Liberal Arts Non-Tenure Track Faculty Committee since 2015.
