Benson’s experience as a geologist spans three plus decades in precious-metals exploration, production, and development throughout the West and Alaska, and as a faculty member at Adams State University. His teaching and research center on learning strategies in the geosciences and effective engagement and training of students, particularly in cutting-edge field mapping methods.
